Before the release of Rayman Origins in 2011, this would be the final game in the main series of the Rayman franchise. Rayman: Hoodlums’ Revenge, a sequel to the original game, was made available on the Game Boy Advance in 2005. Arrangements in two dimensions have been made for the Game Boy Advance and the N-Gage. In 2012, a remastered high-definition version of the game was made available for download on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. This game belongs to the Rayman Collection compilation released in 2013. The game is also the latest in the series to be in 3D. This would be the last main series Rayman game to be released until Rayman Origins in 2011. In 2004, Feral Interactive made it available for the OS X platform. This game is in DVD version is not the original version in 3 CDs. A follow up game, Rayman: Hoodlums Revenge, was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2005.
In 2003, it was made available for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Windows Ubisoft. It relates the narrative of how Rayman defeats André, a villainous black lum, planning to take control of the planet using an army of sack-like warriors called “Hoodlums.” In contrast to the previous installment of the series, Rayman 3 takes a more comedic approach it is filled with ironic, self-referential overtones and makes fun of the genre of video games known as platformers. The Rayman series of video games has now reached its third major milestone with the release of Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.
